Hi, Dr. Anand here from Warragul Dental Care.
We all know that bad breath can be a bit of a social downer. I recall chatting with a local mate who was worried about an unpleasant odour – and often, it’s simply a matter of not brushing thoroughly. When you miss spots while brushing and flossing, bacteria have a chance to settle in, and before you know it, you’ve got unwelcome smells.
Another common culprit is infection. Whether it’s from tooth decay or gum infections, bacteria release gases that aren’t exactly fresh. In fact, if you’re experiencing chronic bad breath, it might be a sign of gum disease – and that’s something best addressed sooner rather than later.
