Warragul Dental Care at 49 Victoria Street has been the town's locally-owned dental practice for over 40 years. Family-owned, not a franchise. Four dentists, therapy dogs, world-class technology, and comprehensive care all under one roof.

When you’ve been part of a town for over four decades, you become woven into its fabric. Your mum might’ve been a patient here. Maybe even your grandma. That’s the kind of history we have as Warragul’s locally-owned dental practice.

At Warragul Dental Care, we’re not a chain and we’re not a franchise. We’re your neighbours who happen to be really good at looking after teeth. Our team includes Doctors Anand, Mira, Ghadir and Gerald, each bringing different strengths and personalities, plus oral health therapists who specialise in children’s care. And then there’s Bruce and Dave, our therapy dogs, who’ve become something of local celebrities.

What 40 Years in Warragul Actually Means

It means we’ve seen everything. First teeth, wisdom teeth, everything in between. We’ve watched kids grow up and bring their own kids in. We know that the Gippsland community values genuine, down-to-earth service over fancy marketing speak.

It also means we’ve had time to invest in the things that actually matter. Nine surgeries equipped with world-class technology: CBCT 3D imaging, intraoral scanners, CEREC same-day crowns. We’re Gippsland’s only Platinum Elite Invisalign provider. We have Gippsland’s only purpose-built cosmetic clinic with Dentélle by WDC. And we have a dedicated general anaesthesia facility on-site.

The Team Behind the Practice

Dr Anand trained at the University of Leeds and University of Birmingham before falling in love with regional Victoria. He’s particularly skilled with nervous and phobic patients, having worked at a specialist sedation clinic in England. He’s also the one who’ll explain complex procedures in plain English. No jargon guaranteed.

Dr Ghadir promises you won’t have a boring appointment. He loves a good chat and will probably send you home with travel recommendations along with your dental advice. Dr Gerald takes a non-judgmental approach, which matters if you’ve been putting off that appointment for a while. (No lectures, just care.) Dr Mira genuinely loves being part of a close team, and it shows.

We’ve invested heavily in making dental visits less stressful for Warragul locals.

Dogtor Bruce was Australia’s first certified dental therapy dog. His younger brother Dave is still learning but already excellent at puppy dog eyes. They can sit with you during treatment if you’re nervous.

We also offer happy gas for adults, Netflix and noise-cancelling headphones during treatment, blankets, and even in-house general anaesthesia for extreme cases. Anand worked at a specialist sedation clinic in England before moving to Australia, treating exclusively phobic patients. He genuinely understands dental fear.
